As you're probably well
aware, having a website is only half the battle.
The other half is getting people to your site.
This side of the industry has been inundated
with terms like SEO, PPC, affiliates, partners,
link exchanges, and any other number of buzz
words.
The problem is that all these buzz words have
been abused with empty promises, false expectations,
and flat out, blatant lies. So before we go
any further, let's get one thing absolutely
straight:
There are no guarantees in marketing!
Take some time and come to terms with that statement.
Sure, everyone wants that silver bullet that
is going to guarantee traffic to their site
or sales to close. You just spent $10,000 on
a website and you want someone to assure that
people are going to visit your site and buy
something. If there were any real guarantees
in the success of business, they wouldn't be
called "ventures," right? We know
you want solid answers and promises, and there
is nothing we'd like more than to be able to
provide that. But the truth is that neither
Scoja nor anyone else can make such promises.
That said, there are certainly ways to improve
your odds, and really, that's what marketing
is all about - getting the word out so that
if you really do have a viable business model,
people will know about it so they can make informed
decisions about purchasing your products or
services. So instead of making promises we can't
keep and setting expectations that aren't realistic,
we aim to present options to you so that you
can then prioritize what works best for you.
There are many ways to market your online venture--everything
from banner ads to TV spots. Scoja doesn't currently
do a whole lot in the radio and TV realm. Everything
else (print and web based advertising) is right
up our alley.
Some of these topics need their own page, but
in a nutshell, here are the typical services
we provide for our clients:
• Natural
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Pay Per
Click Advertising (PPC)
• Link Exchanges
• Email
Campaigns
